Forty years younger and twenty years freer is probably one of the best closing line in any poem.
I've enjoyed this week's themes. These poems have truly given us a glimpse into a life that many have no experience in. To me, that is one of the most important functions of poetry and really any art.

Anyways, good choose in themes and the poems to reflect the theme. I've enjoyed it.

It's grim and wonderful. I'm partial to art that is not pretty, I think because pretty art makes me a bit uncomfortable -- I always wonder if it is the prettiness or the beauty that I am responding to.
