This does really, really cool things with images. Even though the content makes me sad, the skill makes me happy.

As for poetry anthologies, the Best American Poetry series is usually pretty good- a new one comes out each year, and they're $15ish I think. Not all that big, though; I think the 2009 edition is about 230 or so pages.

The Spoken Word Revolution Redux.
Yes, it's mostly spoken word. Not all though. And it's very contemporary. And it spans a wide selection of poetry from hip-hop based, to very "conservative" spoken word, to poets like Viggo and Hank Mortensen, e.e. cummings,Jack McCarthy, musicians like Billy Corgan and Jeff Buckley, persona pieces, prose poetry, letters, short essays, and the list goes on.
It's a tome.
I love it.
Best of all, it comes with a 75 minute CD of poems and introductions to genres and poets.

Doooo iiiiitttt.
