Coincidentally, I have just been listening to a Symphonie from Haydn, too. Luckily no one I know is dying... But knowing it could happen to another person this very instant makes those moments all the more precious.

The realism and simple images in this poem really give it it's impact. Though I find the verse and structure take away from the overall impact. I can see why she wrote the way she did though. That's just my opinion...
