Friends

I think I am losing one. Things have changed recently, and I feel as though I am being cut out of her life slowly. This makes me sad, but it has happened before, and I do know my Sheldon-ness makes me difficult to have around. Just needed to write it down, I guess. Sorry.

*hugs* It's always sad when friends drift apart.

Oh, I'm so sorry. I lost a few friends in my life too and I know how much it can hurt. The worst is when you don't even know why. I lost my very good friend this way. We were friend for more than ten years and she was my bridesmaid at my wedding. Then she just stopped answering my mails and my phone calls. No explanation. I don't even know if I did something that bothered her.
Anyway losing a friend is sad. *send you virtual support* :)

This happened to me once. My oldest friend just suddenly cut me right out of her life. Turns out, because of something she herself insisted on doing for me, she decided I was 'too needy'. Hey, I did not ask you to do this for me, it was your idea. Anyway, we worked it out eventually, but only after I refused to just let it lie and called her. She did answer my call, unlike your friend. That just sucks. At least have the courtesy to let you know the reason. I am sorry this happened to you. *hugs* My first given-out online hug. For you. :)

Thank you. :) I forgot how much it still hurts. Fortunately, I still have a handful of sincere friends.

people weave their way through your life, change happens and it may be something happening in her life that is causing it, don't blame yourself.

I am kind of like Sheldon in a lot of ways, and am always doing and saying the wrong thing, so it's hard not to blame myself. People get upset with me and I do not understand what was wrong with what I said or did. Some people give me an opportunity to explain myself, and/or apologize, but I think some people just don't want to be bothered anymore. Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it.

So glad you have such faith in my normality, but you haven't really seen my day-to-day life for most of yours. I know whereof I speak, as regards to my screwing up-ness. I took an online (yes, I know, online, can't be real) asperger's quiz a couple of years ago, and tested quite high on the asperger's scale. Explained so much about my life. It was kind of relief to know I'm not just a jerk. I haz reasons. LOL
