Where I follow some Torchwood-related pages. Yes, I hate when writers have Jack call Ianto 'Yan', because that would just never happen. I, too, do not love woobie Ianto. Seriously, did you not notice how he kept a cyberwoman hidden, organizing things so well that no one ever had a clue. Did you not see him tazer those guys in 'Meat' after nearly being shot to death? Did you not observe ANY of the brilliantly clever and strong things the man did throughout the series? If he didn't break after Lisa, he's not going to break. Period.
Not the point. The point is, I read somewhere that RTD mentioned that killing off a favorite character meant we'd remember that character forever. I think what he didn't realize was that it meant we'd hate RTD forever, as well.
