We aren't devastated because we lost a celebrity- we are devastated because we lost an ARTIST. He was one of the best songwriters, dancers, vocalists, and choreographers of the 20th century. He was a child prodigy and an incredibly, unbelievably gifted human being. We aren't sad because we lost someone famous. We're sad because we lost someone who had the ability to reach BILLIONS of other people across the world through his artistic abilities. He was a genius. And we don't know what to do with ourselves when a light that bright burns out. Because if someone like that is mortal, then we all are. - ollyoxenfree
