Kitty Down: Update...
Got a call from the vet this morning. I don't think I could recall all the details cause I swear that she started talking and didn't take a breath for 10 minuntes :), but the basics of it are this:
- Munchkin's indeed has serious liver issues. It's also normally not just one thing that can cause it, so he's being tested for a whole lot of stuff, including diabeates (which caught me off guard), lyukemia, etc.
- He's on a IV to rehydrate him and has ate some food. More importantly, he hasn't thrown up anything yet so he's keeping down what's being given to him.
- He's being given anti-biotics and other drugs to combat the liver issues.
We'll know more this afternoon when they call back, and we've been told we can visit if we want. Unfortunately I won't be able to because of work so Susan would have to.
He's not out of the woods yet but we have some small victories at least.
