It's Been a long while.
Wow, thats the longest time someones not updated a journal since people had hands! So for those of you who still read this journal, nothing much has been happening in Bernalillo, except that we won the State Championship in basketball. I would say that im proud but that would be a lie, what do I have thats worth being proud of? I'm not the one who won. Oh well. Anywho my musicalness has been on the creative/experimental phase as of late, trying alot of new stuff. Like singing, and thats hard to do well while playing. I guess once I get the chords into my muscle memory I won't have to think about it, like anything you play over and over and over again, it begins to play itself, while I put my little finesse's on top.
Good News:
#1. Guitar Center opening in Albuquerque on March 25th. What does this mean? JEMs and JSs. This means that I can now go play with these guitars I've been talking and talking about, and decide if I really want one. Since Grandma's Music doesn't stock the signature Ibanezs (Ibani?) GC will do nicely.
#2. Formation of the foundation of a band. Jesse Roshbach on drums, yours truly on lead guitar/vocals. (Only one song that has any vocals anyways, I Believe . I was thinking of calling us The RS Experiment . Right now there are two Vai songs, and about 15 Satch songs on the setlist, mainly because every Megadeth or Metallica song either has lyrics, or solos which are NOT my style.
Well, thats about it, We'll see if my HTML stuff worked up there. Comment if you read this, and if you don't then I'll assume that you suck.
