You? Hubby is on a world tour that could make a rock star quit. 24 cities, 10 countries in about 7 weeks. Our phone calls/texts have been via his company line, so nothing but sweet nothings on that front. He's supposed to be home from Christmas to mid-January. So if you don't hear from me, don't worry, I'm just making out - whoops, making up for lost time!

Oh man, that is rough. Being asexual, I prefer flying solo, but it can't be easy to be missing your S.O. Hang in there.

Also-there was the time that that sounded like an exciting type of job. Now I'm glad for occasional trips out of town/out of state/out of country. Ah youth.

The *really* hilarious bit? He's evangielizing for doing business 'in the cloud' and part of the point is that you can have sales/research/art/data accessible anywhere so you don't have to have all of the team/facilities in one spot. I.E. - He's going *in person* to all these places to show off how this technology means better results with *less travel/relocating*! At some point in most phone calls, I ask if anyone has pointed this out and asked why aren't they are using their own resources :)

I swear that's how every field operates. Nearly every time we have professional development, we're sitting for long stretches of time and being lectured to. But we're not supposed to teach our students that way. And so many of our trainings are about technology, but they pass out papers that we're expected to take notes on.
