Well, these clothes are nice and all, but I'd really rather not be dressed like a girl. And the dress is [Pause.] a bit small...

Has anyone had any luck removing the clothes you've found yourselves wearing?

This kind of thing happen often? I'm fine with what I'm wearing, it's not too odd, but there's a tenacity to these clothes I reckon isn't very common.

I don't know, this is the first second time I've awoke in odd clothes since I've been here, and I was born nearly two months ago.

Second time in as many months? You couldn't remove them last time, either?

As if this place wasn't unusual enough by just existing.

No, but to be fair, the last time, we were made apprentice to someone else, so we kind of had a reason. This time, it's just random.

Yeah, I arrived just as that was ending. You were dressed in some sort of uniforms?

I thought having a seven-day week and places with running water indoors was strange. Shows what you know, huh.

Sort of. It was more based on what we were learning.

[Pause.]

A seven-day week is odd?

Students under the same teacher got similar outfits?

Yeah, as a matter of fact. It should be longer, but that's one of the less weird parts.

Something like that, yes. Rain and I trained under Reed, and we were both dressed in what looked to be soldier-like uniforms.

Longer? Really? Seven days seems about right to me.

Oh, Dragons. I forgot the introductions again, right? I'm Hawk, pleased to meet you.

Might be it's just me. You have cupboards for preserving food cold and that doesn't chime any sort of bell, either. I'm getting used to it.

I'm Magi. It's a pleasure to meet you, Hawk.

I've heard talk about different worlds. Perhaps yours is one that doesn't have these things? They seem rather familiar to me.

Different worlds, and yet we're apparently all still alive. Maybe it'll make sense somehow. It would explain some things.

[There's no response for a moment.]

There are those of us who are trying to find answers to those questions.

So I'm told, and that that's a risky affair at best.

It's also quite dangerous to speak of it through the journals.

More dangerous than to speak of it in general?

Yes.
