Ode to an iBook
You'd think that after just over year, Clara would be in pretty decent shape. It's not. The poor dear has scratches on the screen, major discolorations all over the inside casing, a couple of dents around the screen, a bunch of dirt and blakc stuff showing up all around the white keyboard. Some stuff stuck in the keyboard that I should probably clean out. And the wonderful addition of just falling out of warranty (though, we did purchase AppleCare for it recently. Who know what that'll do though.
Yet, with a 1.42ghz G4, a gig of ram and a 60 gig hard drive, it runs like a freaking dream. And, it still looks beautiful to me. Clara is definitely going to get me through my senior year and probably will get me through my frehsman year of college. How about them apples. And, from the looks of it, I'll even be able to run leopard. Fancy shit, right?
So, yay for outdated hardware. Because I still love it!
