Never, in six years of working for the corporate * of Wal*Mart, have I ever seriously considered quiting.
Then last week it happened.
Christmas Music started playing over the intercom.
The boss swore it was an accident, she was just trying to figure out how to work the new music system and the CD's weren't labeled. A few minutes after it started, the Xmas music stopped and the system began playing Smash Mouth and then more assorted pop.
But I could see it in her eyes: she was...testing us.
