I suppose you could also just go somewhere fairly isolated by yourself and not talk to anyone for a week?
The surroundings there are fairly Catholic, in that there is a Bible and a crucifix in each room. But it is not required that you do anything...at all, really. They do ask for volunteers to say a blessing before each midday and evening meal (the only ones taken together, although still in silence), but you don't have to do that. I guess you do have to listen to it, though. And the library there features texts on all the Judeo-Christian religions, not just Catholicism.
If you go in nice weather you can just spend all your time walking around outside, listening to the wind in the trees and the cows mooing and talking to cats. =)
