Yay! >^_^< Happy Holidays!

Ooh, pretty new weapon. And yay, you got World War Z! I read an excerpt from that online when it first came out, and I was very impressed. I really liked the political viewpoints of the girl telling her story as she believed that her family being rounded up by their goverment and led to the "safe homeland" was a ploy of the civil war there to use her people as disposable target blockers, and then they finally see what it is they're being pulled to run away from.. I actually got The Zombie Survival Guide, which is pretty darn nifty, and I finally sat down to watch Land of the Dead, which I got as a free rental when I rented Santa's Slay (I liked Santa's Slay a lot, really).

My brother got a Wii for himself and his kids. We played bowling on it, I was very impressed by the motion of it. It gave me the same curves I get when I throw at a real bowling alley. Crazy.
I've heard from most people that they don't like the PS3. My brother got one of those too (he's crazy like that), and the kids don't like it. I heard a rumor that Sony skipped out on making it backwards compatible. I don't see the point in wasting money on it if it's going to be like that. I love my PS2. Yay PS2! >^_^< .

World War Z is definitely an interesting book so far. I'm still waiting to get to the part about Cuba, which sounded really interesting from the synopsis I read about it... being an isolated island, it became a very safe region during the zombie war and several U.S. refugees wound up flocking there and having to perform menial labor. Talk about a role reversal! It's the sort of thing I'd love to write a play based on.
I'll be Wii hunting soonish, though I don't know how successful I'll be in finding one. I doubt many people received it as a gift and returned it to the store, so I'll likely have to wait until new shipments arrive from Nintendo's warehouses. As for the PS3, I do think it's still backwards compatible with a surprisingly high number of PlayStation 1 and 2 games. The real problems are the price, since Blu-Ray is so expensive, and the lack of good, exclusive games. Most PS3 games run just as well and look just as good on the Xbox 360, which is $200 cheaper so there isn't much incentive to buy Sony's console right now.
You'll be fine sticking with your own PS2... and playing Wii when you get the chance, of course. :)
