Melora, Zoe and Jonathon gave an excellent performance Thursday evening. Perhaps the best recital of theirs that I've seen yet. I always enjoy Melora's witty (albeit rehearsed to the point of almost machine-like recitation) segues.
The show was periodically marred by periodic "inappropriate" behavior by one wild-haired gal that was determined to dance the night away ("people didn't pay good money to see you just stand around"). I had a short, pleasant and unfruitful conversation with her, requesting that she minimize her intrusion into my space. Two other ladies in the audience chose to make their point in a more salient fashion by tossing her to the floor, causing a momentarily scene during a particularly quiet segment of the show.
Rasputina played a new (to me) three-song medley (apparently) based on the tragedy that was September 11 for their encore; I look forward to its eventual release.
