Summary: Misa and Remu are lovers, but since they can't be physically intimate, Remu makes up for it by using her Death Note to control young girls, who die after having sex with Misa. Now that Kira's sister has become involved, Misa has to be careful or their game will be found out.
Halfway through Raito’s rambling Misa claimed that she was going to be late for an appointment. She took her leave, running down the street towards the train station. It had been a long day at work and she was tired, but she was also frustrated about Sayu. She wasn’t angry with her, but she was irritated that Raito had interrupted them. As far as she knew, Raito didn’t know about what had happened on his own bed. But, apparently, the Kira Taskforce did. The thought of them watching caused her to blush. Not only had L been watching, but probably Sayu’s father as well. She had no problem being in front of the camera, but she had never had sex on tape before. And of course, Sayu’s father had watched his own daughter. Well, that wasn’t exactly a concern of Misa’s, considering Sayu would be dead soon.
Misa stopped before boarding the train. She thought that Sayu would be following her, since most of the girls did, but she didn’t see her anywhere in the crowd of people.
Once she got to the apartment she stripped out of her clothes and went for a nice hot shower. As she was testing the water temperature Remu asked, “When did you write that girl’s name down?”
Misa froze, looking over her shoulder at Remu. “You mean… that you didn’t write Sayu’s name down?”
Remu’s sapphire blue lips curved into a frown; her deep yellow eyes revealed how anxious this made her. “No.”
It was not unusual for people to be drawn to Misa sexually, even without the use of the Death Note. But there were, more often than not, complications. They were never satisfied with one time. They wanted a real relationship with Misa, but they were only for her physical needs; her heart belonged her shinigami. Usually, they would end up stalking her, not being able to take no for an answer and the Death Note would have to be used anyway.
Misa frowned and let out a deep sigh. Once the temperature was perfect she stepped into the shower, pulling the curtain closed. “I was hoping that it had been you,” Misa mumbled to herself, since Remu probably couldn’t hear her over the noise of the running water.
Remu said something, but Misa was already lost in thought about what to do to listen. While she pondered the state of affairs she started to wash herself. This wasn’t a normal situation. Sayu, after all, was the sister of Kira. If she wasn’t careful she and her lover could end up dead.
Pacing her bedroom in nothing but a towel, Misa mused to herself all of her options, and which one would be best suited. Remu watched her, waiting for her decision.
Suddenly she stopped, her back to Remu. She glanced over her shoulder with a triumphant look on her face. “I’ve got it! After I make a quick phone call you can get out your Death Note. I’ll warn you though, this one is going to be kind of long.”
She told her mother she was going over a friend’s house to study. Before she had left she
had made sure to add a bit of makeup and to fix her hair. The train ride seemed to take forever. At her stop she got off and ran most of the way. She climbed the steps and stood in front of the door for a long moment. She thought for sure that her heart would jump right out of her chest. A deep breath, and then she knocked.
There was a knock on the door. The Second Kira laid a kiss on the smooth, fleshless cheek of her shinigami. “Watch Misa’s acting,” she whispered to her and went to answer.
Sayu Yagami was on the other, a smile on her face. “Hello Misa,” she said shyly.
With a cheerless smile on her face, Misa invited the girl in. She gestured towards the bed they both sat down. Misa’s expression made Sayu look concerned. Misa then lowered her head, so that her hair hid her face from Sayu’s view.
“Misa… What’s wrong?” Sayu managed to say. “Is it about, what happened before? I’m so sorry, I never meant to-”
“No,” Misa managed to say. Sayu was shocked by the sound of her voice; she sounded as though she were going to cry. “It’s-it’s…” She paused for a moment and took a deep breath. “It’s Raito.”
“What…? What’s wrong?” Sayu asked, her voice a mix of curiosity and concern; she leaned closer. She laid her hand on Misa’s shoulder; her body was trembling slightly.
Misa sniffled, wrapping her arms around herself. “You have to believe me when I tell you this Sayu… it’s true.”
“What is?” Sayu said in a soft, anxious tone. She braced herself for anything, waiting to hear the very worst about her brother.
“Promise me, Sayu. Promise me.”
“I promise,” she said quickly.
There was a long moment before Misa spoke again. “He told me, he proved to me, that he is…” A deep breath, and she sat up so that Sayu could see her face. Tears were sliding down her cheeks. Her face was red, streaked with black lines of makeup; it made Sayu want to cry as well. “He told me that he is Kira.”
But she wasn’t ready for this, of course.
Remu had watched the entire scene. Her Misa Misa truly was a good actor.
Sayu’s reaction was just what Misa had planned for. First, it was denial… and then realization. She had jumped up from the bed, pacing the room, saying it wasn’t true. Then she fell her knees at Misa’s feet. She laid her head against Misa’s knees and sobbed.
Misa leaned over her, crying along as she stroked her hair. She laid a kiss on the top of Sayu’s head. The girl looked up at her and then they kissed. And again. Misa wiped Sayu’s tears away with her fingertips, her own still clinging to her face. Soon they were lying on the bed together kissing, pulling at clothes, and fondling each other.
As Misa was straddling Sayu the tears on her face dripped down onto the girl’s bare breasts. Though Sayu had stopped crying, her eyes were still glistening; her face was still wet.
Misa bent over to give Sayu a long, zealous kiss. The kiss ended, leaving them both gasping for air. With one of Sayu’s breasts in each hand she began to knead them. Then she leaned her body down so that her lips could reach so that she could suckle them. Sayu laid her hands on the back of Misa’s head to play with her soft blonde hair. Out of the corner of Misa’s eye she saw Sayu’s face turned away, but she could hear her moaning softly.
Misa’s mouth moved to Sayu’s. They fed eagerly from each other, their tongues sliding in and out of each others mouths as they moaned. Misa leaned to the side as she continued to kiss Sayu. Her hand trailed down Sayu’s lean stomach until it reached her skirt. She pulled up the skirt and began rubbing her fingers against her through the panties.
“It hurts,” Sayu gasped. But Misa knew that it didn’t hurt; it just felt too good.
With one hand Misa pulled Sayu’s panties down until they reached her knees. Her fingers slid up her thigh and back in place.
Watching the two reminded Remu that she truly did not understand sexual desire. The fondling, and the licking and the fingers, what was all that about? Hadn’t they just been crying? Why the sudden change? She truly did not comprehend it, but she probably couldn’t. It must have been a human thing.
Since she had known Misa she could understand why Gelus had fallen in love with her. Misa was beautiful, even that wasn’t hard for a God of Death to grasp. She was charming and witty, more than most would give her credit for. The deaths of her parents had made her fragile, but now she was strong again.
The girls ended up with Misa at the edge of the bed, and Sayu down on the floor between her spread legs. It was a common position that Misa seemed to like, Remu noted.
Sayu explored Misa with her tongue, making Misa’s body shiver with pleasure. As she worked her tongue against her, Sayu cupped Misa’s firm, supple breasts in her hands. She rubbed them, teasing her nipples with the tips of her fingers. Soon Sayu released them. She placed on hand on Misa thigh for balance. She put two of her fingers from her other hand in her mouth to moisten them and then slipped them in and out of Misa in a rhythmic motion.
Misa arched her body. With her head back she closed her eyes and cried out. Remu appeared above her and kissed her on the lips. It was a long, deep kiss. Unable to contain herself, Misa slipped her tongue into her shinigami’s mouth; she was careful not to cut herself on Remu’s sharp fangs.
Misa could feel her climax approaching. She gripped the bed tightly, and her toes curled up until it almost hurt. But it felt so good. Too good. Her mouth and tongue still intertwined with Remu’s she cried out.
Oh, so good.
Most of their clothes had ended up on the floor or on the edge of the bed. They gathered them and dressed themselves in silence. Misa kept a solemn look on her face while Sayu began to tear up again. At the door Sayu threw her arms around Misa and kissed her.
“I love you,” she sobbed as they kissed.
In response, Misa said nothing. She wasn’t going to lie. She didn’t love Sayu; she was nothing compared to Remu.
Sayu hugged herself as she climbed the stairs to her room. At the top of the landing she noticed that Raito was in his room. The light was on and the door was left ajar. She knocked lightly before going in.
He was at his desk writing something in a notebook when she entered. He smiled at her and said, “What’s up?”
That’s when she broke into tears. He jumped up from his seat but she pushed him away and screamed, “How could you!”
Stunned, he stepped back. “Sayu…? What are you-”
“I know it! I know the truth! You-you are the monster.” She was mumbling, barely able to hold herself up. Since she had left Misa’s apartment all she could think about was what a monster her brother was. He was talking, but she couldn’t hear him. Then, she screamed his true name, over and over again. “Kira!”
After he failed to calm her down, She ran out of the room, slamming the door behind. Raito stood there, shocked. What had just happened? How the hell did she know? Then he remembered that L was watching… and listening.
Ryuk was laughing, laughing so hard he almost toppled over.
“It’s not funny!” Raito snapped. L would hear him, he knew, and he would think that he was yelling at no one.
He went to the window for some air. He needed to breathe. He opened the window, and as he did, he hear the gut wrenching sound of his sister’s body hitting the ground outside.
