INTERESTS
TV Shows - Star Trek, Stranger Things, Squid Game, the Marvel and Star Wars spin-offs, true crime shows, documentaries. In the past was a big fan of shows like The X-Files, Buffy, Supernatural, Stargate, CSI, NCIS... basically any decent show with a sci-fi, paranormal or crime theme.
Movies - Honestly, too many to name, but would mention Only Lovers Left Alive, O Brother Where Art Thou?, The Matrix, The Godfather, Hellraiser, Halloween, most of the Marvel movies. Watch a lot of trashy horror and action movies on Netflix and Prime.
Books - Again, so many but my all time top three are Under The Skin by Michel Faber, IQ84 by Haruki Murakami, The Passage by Justin Cronin. I read anything from the classics, to horror, psychological thrillers, literary fiction and dystopian fantasy.
Video Games - Tomb Raider, Cyberpunk 2077
Music- In This Moment, Grimes, Lana Del Rey, Halsey, Nine Inch Nails, Billie Eilish, Hole/Courtney Love, Emilie Autumn, PJ Harvey, Evanescence, Faith No More, Sisters of Mercy, Florence + The Machine Portishead, Lorde, Manic Street Preachers, The Mission, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, The Pierces, Placebo, Nebelhexe, Type O Negative.
Fandoms - I'm not a fandom person at all
Hobbies - Creative writing (self-published horror author), reading, penpalling, walking, travel, going to concerts/theatre/cinema, eating out, puzzles and games, quiz nights, watching sports, anything to do with the paranormal, history, science, fashion, nature.

What kind of friends are you looking for? - Anyone who makes fairly regular posts about their lives and who comments at least now and again.
Any deal breakers? - Prefer not to read journals that are mostly politics or fandom - I want to read about your thoughts and your life.
Anything else you would like to add? - My cat is adorable and I post a lot of photos of Scotland and other places I travel to. People claim my entries are often laugh-out-loud funny, and I swear I didn't even pay most of them to say it!

Sounds like we got a lot in common, not sure if we have added each other before or not? I've been through a few name changes so hard to keep track. but what we have in common: Star Trek, the Marvel (though not a fan of Wanda or Vision so never got into WandaVision) and Star Wars spin-offs, true crime shows, documentariesBuffy, Supernatural, Stargate, NCIS, O Brother Where Art Thou? (I knew I forgot one on mine!), The Matrix, Halloween, most of the Marvel movies.

Would you like to try and be friends? No worries if not. And I'm totally fine with cat photos! I'm not allowed a pet where I live so I live through my friends pets, especially cats. :)

Hi, it looks like we have quite a bit in common! I love anything to do with the paranormal and I'm always looking for new paranormal shows or podcasts lol. I love the X-files and Star Trek (I've started watching TNG again here recently). I love creative writing and eating out as well. I listen to In This Moment too, Legacy is my favorite so far, but I haven't heard much of their music yet. I don't post about fandom, but maybe twice a month. The majority of my posts are life, thoughts and crafts. Let me know if you'd like to be friends!

We rewatched the whole of TNG during lockdown, such a great show! My favourite In This Moment album is "Black Widow", though my favourite song is "Whote", from the "Blood" album.

Hi, I'd love to see photos of your cat and also the sights of Scotland. I've only been there once thus far and really liked it. :)
