And yeah, the long, dark thursday afternoon of the soul... I think everyone goes through it at some point. Long and dark in that it's just bleak and seems never ending... Thursday afternoon? Well, over the week, it seems everyone hates thursdays, you're tired from the week, aching for the weekend to bring whatever fun (or just rest) it has and just waiting for friday to come when you can actually do stuff.
Eventually life will pick up again and interesting stuff to talk about will leak back into your life.
*chuckles* if it is any comfort at all, in some small way, I think you'll find you are part of most of your old friends lives. I still find myself wondering what you are up to *chuckles* and seeing occasional things in the shop that I think "Hmm... Mandy would like that... Shame I'm too broke to pay for even the postage." :x
You've lamented before that you felt like you haven't been much of a friend... *chuckles* Well, perhaps not, perhaps so, but you still are a friend. I am afraid that the present day me is somewhat different to the old me... duller and more weary, and my life is a bit laiden with doom and destruction but it's still me. *Laughs* And I still hope worth knowing xD
And one thing hasn't changed, and is unlikely to change in the near (or I hope far) future.
