Mission 1, #35, not quite successful
Well, the tongue ring I bought feels really strange. The gauge (sp?) is too big (smaller gauges (sp?) mean bigger / thicker jewelry) and so it feels loose in my mouth.
After all that boiling and cooling and questing all day, I ended up with something I'm not sure I'll wear. I was so excited to cross something off my list. I'm picky with things, so that item will be harder to cross off than I thought. I think I'll have better luck in Northampton where the jewelry is more normal and the store people more friendly or maybe it's just that things are more personalized or that it was the place I had gotten the piercing done, so the potential for complications was much, much less. Any way it goes, I'm still on that mission. Hopefully, I will have more luck with that soon.
