Pessimist

I'm never amazed at how quickly I can get upset worrying over something that turns out to be nothing. I should be relieved, so why do I still have a little rain cloud following me around?

What do you call it when you're telling yourself "I told you so"?

I believe the technical term is 'self-flagellation', actually. Stop that.

Normally, when I tell myself I told you so, it gets down to fisticuffs eventually.

it's called, time for chocolate and a hug. Stop it. *smooch*

How about when you're telling yourself not to tell yourself "I told you so" because it never does any good, then telling yourself to stop moralizing and that ordering yourself to stop telling yourself "I told you so" is just as harsh in its own way. . .

And it doesn't make the bus come any faster, either.
