Girl in Kimono Vs. the Rain
I planned to wake up early so that I could get all the layers on right, do makeup, and dress my hair. In a flashback to grade school, my office is having Halloween dress up day & potluck. Waking up at 4:30 was a little earlier than I needed. I think. I'm not done yet.
I got enough sleep, but I think that my rested feeling is due to some story writing. When I got to the point that I had intended as the ending, I started to think that my MC might be male (first person POV). Kind of changes everything, does explain why he's drinking Maker's Mark instead of white wine. Just like a man, too, since he interrupted my NaNo outline.
I woke up before my alarm, which is funny since I forgot to roll back the hour on it.
To wear kimono on the bus will be an awfully big adventure.
