scarlettina challenged everyone at table to create a haiku about the cornbread that we were served before our meals. We wrote them in crayon on the table paper. That one was mine. For using a scanner & Flickr, how many geek points do I get? I'd get more if I could make flicker center the image, I bet. I'll put them in my piggy bank.
Dinner was the best of company, if not the best of food or service. (The ribs weren't bad, but... think "Applebees" or "Chilis" for the atmosphere.) I was able to meet Aynjel, who was wearing a stunning corset, patterned with dragonflies, and I am now LJ stalking quizro -- and I didn't even know about the cat pirates until this morning!
I had a lovely sleep-in this morning while it rained and rained, and now I'm going to have "Saturday morning cartoons anime" with L.
