I AM WRITING ABOUT THIS NOW BECAUSE PEOPLE LIKE MY SISTER HAVE SUCH BUSY LIVES THAT IF I DON'T TALK ABOUT IT NOW I WOULD NEVER BE ABLE TO SET IT UP! So this is a keep this is mind

I am looking at setting up a rafting trip in May if people are interested it would be good to know now and when... ....but we can do it any weekend... May is not during the "popular season" aka i can work deals We would be renting equpimemt from Bigfoot rafting company it is $80 (total) for a 6-8 person boat...mind you one person is the guide.... but it includes all of the gear here is the package:
Designed for river runners needing a complete set-up to properly negotiate the riffles and rapids, this complete outfitting package includes raft, paddles, pump, rescue throw line, dry bag, bow line, cam straps, repair kit and lifevests,..I have some helmets and we can get them too added in for free.. Self-bailing rafts are available for an additional $20.00. ..Self-bailing means we bring a bucket along and after each rapid we have someone bucket out the water... this is no problem at all..

I have friends that are guides that are willing to do it for $30 (most people tip the guides $2-5 per person also) So depending on how many people want to do it... it would probably only cost $20-25 per person which beats the $79 per person if you actually got their guides to do it... yes my friends are certified and have over a year's worth of experience... I could do it but I would rather have them do it since they have their swift water rescue certifications and I haven't had the money to take that class yet...

so just think about it... this is open to any of you guys and your friends if you want to set up something later in the summer.. I can help you book it for cheaper but it probably would be $40 a person instead...

I need to start setting tenative plans by feburary for the guides though because they book up fast and we want to get them while they are still thinking that they are poor college students not guides who are making big bucks... normally the get about a $90 on a full day's run.. that includes tips... so they can make bank by the end of the summer...
