I no longer have a boyfriend...
... but I sure do have a fiance. Well, as most of you may know, I am engaged to my new and wonderful fiance, Jim Damskov (If some of you didn't know who I was engaged to, then you definitely haven't been too involved with my life). I am so excited. I was a complete surprise when it came, but it was definitely welcomed. It was Christmas morning and my whole family was there. It was great. He even cut his hair in order to do it!!! The ring was inside a bouncy ball, that was so cool. It was a very good idea considering that Jim and I basically started our relationship by flirting while playing with a bouncy ball. No matter how many times I pictured how it would happen, nothing compared to what actually took place. It is a beautiful ring, I couldn't imagine anything better.
No official date has really been set, but we are thinking August. That leaves only 8 months. At first I thought that sounded like a long time, but now that I am at the beginning stages of planning, there are a lot more things to be done then I thought. But, it will be perfect no matter what happens.
I can't believe how wonderful this relationship has become. God definitely had a hand in it the whole way. As long as we continued to trust Him, everything worked out the way that it was supposed to. God is so wonderful, and seems to always give the true desires of our hearts. His timing is so perfect.
Well, I am sure that I will be updating as more information comes and planning gets underway. Today I get to go wedding dress shopping! This is going to be great!
