anna and i have successfully done all our tourist activities in less than three days time. insane.
here is some of what we've done:
toured alcatraz, taken the "alcatraz cruise" (ie: a twenty minute ferry ride)
went to chinatown, ate in a resturant inhabited by a cat
hiked up to coit tower
hung out at fisherman's wharf
ate seven dollar sundaes at giradelli and went to the beach
had coffee in little italy at cafe trieste where the beats hung out
attempted to enter many a cathedral
went to the palace on fine arts at sunset
checked out haight ashbury (not amoeba or city lights yet)
got lost/found by cable car, trolley, bus, and bart
walked thousands of miles uphill
ate burritos and went to a 1918 soda fountain in the mission
the mission district is pretty much the best ever.
i can't believe we did so fucking much in two days on foot.
so next i am going to the musee mechanique, camera obscura, conservatory of flowers (can y'all feel it, bitches?), a really fucking tall mountain of a hill park, a lawrence ferlingetti reading, amoeba, city lights, and mills college for women if i feel like braving oakland.
any other things i absolutely must do?
