Jam-packed weekend

Saturday was pretty mellow - just a lot of hanging about the apartment and cleaning.  In the evening David got us some Indian food and we ate it at his pool bar.  His friends there like me a lot, it seems!  I had conversations with two of them while David played pool, and then I made a new friend.  This guy named Roy was chatting me up and gave me a hug and I said, "OOh, strange guy in a bar hugging me!" and he told me he was gay (which I knew already and was just trying to be funny).  Then we chatted for a good 20 minutes about relationships.  Roy told me I'm very cute and told David that I'm awesome.  Good reviews from a gay guy who I had just met that night.  Ha!

After dinner, David and I went to the Kabuki Theater in Japantown to see Zack & Miri Make a Porno.  Freaking hilarious movie!  (If you go see it, you gotta wait until the credits are done before you leave.)  I was a little distracted, though, by how much Elizabeth Banks looks like Rachel McAdams.  I had no idea who Elizabeth Banks was and thought for most of the movie that I was watching Rachel McAdams.  :P

Sunday was busy busy busy.  We headed to Sac for a 3-event day.  We had lunch with Amy & Justin at a tasty sandwich place called Beach Nut (my sandwich was salami & bacon on a dutch crunch roll with cream cheese and provolone - mmmmm).  We did a bit of shopping at Aeropostale (they are having a crazy sale!), and then we headed over to Melissa & Nick's for their housewarming party.  We enjoyed some tasty treats while chatting some more with Amy and Justin.  We cut out early to head over to see Becky and Victor (to be totally honest, my social anxiety was in high gear and my limit was about an hour) so I could take Becky sympathy brownies and give her a big hug.  We had some drinks and played Wii.  Wii is so fun!!  It's been decided that the apartment must be equipped with a Wii ASAP.  Uh huh.

I'm pretty glad the weekend is over, even though I know by tomorrow I'll be longing for the weekend to save me again.  I think this is the one weekend where we don't have anything planned before all the holiday craziness starts, so we're totally going to do NOTHING.  Yay!

I've been feeling nauseous on and off ever since Vegas and I finally figured out why - I have a horrible plugged duct.  I haven't been doing a very good job of expressing when I'm away from Jack for more than 24 hours and unfortunately I don't notice these things until they get to a pretty painful level.  Last night when I nursed Jack it hurt so much I started shaking.  Ugh.  Jack didn't manage to clear it, although he helped a lot, so I am keeping up with the ibuprofen.

I need a nap now.
