Today was One Eyed Stanley's cd release show and it was awesome.
Ace and artemis sounded great, and we played what I think was our best set to date. We were planning on playing of our usual songs, and then trying out this new long instrumental one, but everyone was having too much fun to slow things down that much. So we scrapped the set-list and had a lil' bit of fun. I think our improvised happy-birthday song to Jeremy went pretty well too. I had so much fun playing, and think we played pretty well too. There are few feelings as good as seeing a bunch of kids you don't know dancing to your music (though the fact that they were skanking was sort of un-expected).
When we finished our set and Sam said thanks I heard someone shout "encore!" over the clapping and that pretty much made my night.
