I feel like all my friends do these days is complain and talk shit about people. and lie.

"Oh he hit me."
"He HIT you?!"
"Well once, but he still hit me."

"I hate this class, I'm not learning anything. This just doesn't come to me."

"Did you hear what she did? She's such a bitch and got her head stuck up her ass. I don't know what kind of problem she has with me but she needs to tell it to my face. That's what I do. I'm not two-faced."

When I'm finally understanding that I have to work my fucking ass off to get what I want. When I finally have someone around me that doesn't just complain or talk shit constantly, someone who just listens and tells me wonderful stories of him and his friends doing stupid shit. And the rest of my 'friends' seem to fall into stereotypical teenage mode.

Dartmouth offers a degree in Neurobiology. Study of the freaking brain, what makes us tick, what helps us understand the world and we still don't know a lot about the brain. That would be such an awesome major. But Ivy League and Ivy League-type schools offer shit like that. And not just anyone from eastern NC gets into an Ivy League school every day. But there's still NYU if I get in, right?
