*lets out deep breath of relief* Well, that was quite a weekend. Thursday I went to see the movie thingy at the holly with two of my sisters, and when we went to go home, it was very dark because every body's power was out, and there were trees down and all kinds of fun stuff. Friday was...not interesting at all. Saturday I cleaned my whole house, and then headed to G'ville to see a movie with Chris. Well, while we were on our way there, he looked away from the road to look at his stupid paint ball gun to see if he needed to do something with it, and started going off the road. We both looked up at the same time and realized where we were headed, but the problem was that we couldn't just stay off the road which would have been the best idea because there was a sign right in front of us, so instead he tried to get back on the road. Well, he couldn't get control right away, so we swerved to the other side of the road, and he tried to get control again, and in turing the other way, we managed to totally spin out, and then just kept driving in the direction away from G'ville. He thought it was really cool/funny, and I was about to pass out. Most people know that I had a VERY bad experience with cars, and since then have been a bit...paranoid I guess you could say, so yeah, spinning out was not what I'd really call cool. But the car was ok, and we were fine, so that was good. But my heart didn't calm down until about half way through the movie.
Then, yesterday was like busy day of the year for me. I had two things going on during church, nothing big, just little things I had to do, but they were on the same day as all my other busy stuff. Then, after church, I ran home to change, and get the other stuff I'd need for the rest of the day, and then went back out to town. Our youth group was having this really fancy dinner thingy to raise money for their trip to Rome (Italy), and I was to play piano for the two hour dinner. So I went back to town to play through all my stuff, and then after that we had our first middle school youth meeting, which Chris and I are leading. That went well I think...the kids we very willing to talk and have fun, so that was good. And then as soon as that finished, I had to change into my fancy duds and get over to the dinner to start playing. I was a bit nervous because like everyone from my church was going to be there, but it turned out being very good. I really enjoyed it. I played for about an hour before I took a break, and when I stood up to break, the whole room started clapping for me. Haha. My back was soooo killing me by the end of the night though. Sitting at a piano for that long really takes it's toll on your body. But it was good. The youth group made a lot of money, and everyone seemed to enjoy it. Oh, and this one guy I know came up to me as he was leaving and slipped a ten dollar bill on my music and told me that he really enjoyed listening to me play. wOOt. I think I suprised every one there because no one knew I was capable of playing so well! Heh. It was good...I think I'm going to look for a classy resturant somewhere with a piano and see if I can play one or two nights a week or something. I think that could be a good way to use my gift. But anyway, it was a long, but very rewarding day. I am so very happy to have found my niche (sp) in life again. I feel like I am doing what I should be doing right now, which is a really good feeling. So anyway, yeah...that'd be about all. Luv to all!
