(no subject)
Oh wow when was the last time I really updated this thing. Too Long Ago. Well............................I'm still in London. Having a great time. Just taking a short break from writing essays. Anne Mel and I are going to see Festen tonight and hopefully History Boys tomorrow. So much theatre. HAHAHA. Anyway I saw the Assassination of Richard Nixon the other day. GO SEE IT. Sean Penn is great. You know who else is great Kevin Spacey. Yea he is and I told him that in person when I met him. I saw National Anthems with the aforementioned Mr. Spacey, Steven Webber (or Weber?), and Mary Stuart Masterson(Antonio). What a great show. I don't think there's a point to the show. It's more of a character study. Anyway Kevin Spacey was so great. I can't wait to see him in The Philadelphia Story. How else have I met???? Well Michael Ball, Patrick Stewart, Joshua Jackson and all with photographic proof. The show I was in got great notices. I was very pleased. I'm glad I did it.
I hope His Dark Material comes to Broadway sadly it probably won't. I don't know how popular the books are in the USA (I need to read them). What a great story in the same vain as Harry Potter and Lotd of The Rings but on a completely different level. Such a spectacle production. I don't know what theatre could house it. The stage consisted of two rings that revolved. One within the next. The inner part was also divided into two huge cylinder that acted as elevators. The scene changes were amazing. The whole show made me really wish I had a daemon. Great for six hours of theatre. I stood for the first part but got up early enough to get a ticket for a seat for the second part.
I'm actually really home sick but jot for home. For Rutgers. I can't wait to move into my apartment with Mike, Ben and Chris. It's going to be awesome. I was talking with Marisa last night...she was telling me how much she missed me. This made me more homesick. It's going to be a busy summer though. Working two jobs taking two summer classes and being in Milford. Well it won't be that bad. At least I'll have my home friends. We always seem to make the best of our time together. Although I can't remember when the last time I saw Dana was. I'll have to fix that.
Mark, Liat and Rachel came to visit. It was wild. Went on a trip to Amsterdam with Mark and met up with Mel and Molly. I had a blast. This is so out of order but hey it's my LJ, EH? EH? Piccadilly Circus (oh Kim Catrall oooo she another celeb I met). Anyway Lait, Mark, Rachel and I saw Blood Brothers. I can tell why Mike likes the show so much. I wasn't very happy with the production but the material has potential. Apparently the show has been running since the 80's or early 90's. That explains a lot.
