Goodbye to the Red, White, and Blue
This is my last post in the US. In less than 48 hours, I'll be on Virgin Atlantic flight # 2 en route to London Heathrowe airport. This my sound silly but I'm half expecting "Rule Britannia" to be playing in the terminal when I get off the plane. I'm practically all packed which is good cause I usually wait till the last minute to start.
I went down to Rutgers one last time this past Saturday and I'm glad I did. I got to say goodbye to some amazing people. Abbey for one. I'm going to miss her so much. Even though we didn't see each other at all this summer, we somehow grew really close. Christina, damn I'm going to miss that girl. She is such an awesome person and one of the few people who actually gets me and loves me all the more for it. Almost started crying when we said goodbye. I'm upset that I didn't get to see Russ. I'm going to miss him. I haven't hung out with him enough as I should. Of course I'm going to miss Christa, Ben, Mike and Caitlin. It was really nice just hang around Christa and Caitlin's apartment just talking.
The 62 girls are wonderful. Crock made me laugh the whole time I was there. She has a certain glow about her now that wasn't always there. I think it's that boyfriend of her's. He a really nice and personable guy. They go well together. I could tell I'd be over that house all the time if I was in New B this year.
So many emotions I didn't expect have crept in. I'm so excited to go yet I'm so scared. I'm pretty sure it's the unknows of the situation. This waiting for Wednesday sucks. But soon I'll be in London and I'll start one, if not the most exciting adventure of my life. We'll see how that goes. Next time you hear from me I'll be in jolly olde London.
