2010

Jan 01, 2011 17:49

Yeah I know I never update this thing. Ever. I suck.

But I wanted to do a review of 2010. Mostly in Pictures. Going to do the same thing as I did last year. 3 pictures per Month (until I start cheating).

JANUARY

One of the last drives from Boise to Bozeman. I kind of miss how pretty that drive was.

Hanging out in a small town bar outside of Bozeman for Katie's Bday. Lots of fun.

Worked in G&E on a set for one of my classes. I was slightly pissed cuz I missed most of the 24 Hours of Daytona but I still learned a TON that weekend.

FEBRUARY

22nd Birthday.

Lots of Irish Car Bombs were drank. So GOOD.

Also Produced a film for my senior thesis credit. It was...interesting and a good learning experience.

MARCH

Visited Rexburg. Which is always fun times.

We always have to go to Applebee's in da Burg to visit Laina.

I also make Whitney do her Taylor Swift pose....and sometimes I hold pictures of TSwift up to her head, cuz they look crazy alike.

APRIL

April brought 2 more shoots for class (and another missed race). One where I produced.

And one where I was a set dresser. And became the on set photographer.

It was super fun actually.

MAY

May brought finals (and videos for the Tracy's)...

...GRADUATION...

...and a class trip, followed by a MOVE to LA.

JUNE

I had fun exploring my new town. And saw my first celebrity (Ellen Pompeo).

Went to my 3rd Grand Am race, The Six Hours of The Glen. Two words: Freeze Pops.

And I actually had a decent conversation with JOE. (I also don't drink Red Bull anymore because he got mad at me for drinking it. HAHAHAHA.)

JULY

Spent a lot of time at the beach.

I mean A LOT. It's prob the thing I miss the MOST about LA.

And I guess that is all I really did? Hahaha. I guess I worked a little too.

AUGUST
Nothing exciting in LA really. BUT thanks to a friend I did make a trip up to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca for the Monterey Historics.

Monterey is an amazing town. I seriously love it.

I saw A LOT A LOT of really sweet cars.

I also got to hang out with my two favorite drivers.

SEPTEMBER

My parents came from Idaho and my brother and his family came from Salt Lake City to come to DISNEY LAND. It was fun to see them and hang out with my nephews. It was also the first time I got to meet my newly adopted nephew Josh.

I got to go to the last race of the Grand Am season at Miller Motorsports park. It was awesome as I had a Media pass. I took A LOT of pictures. And I got to shoot interviews with Joe, Patrick and Charles.

I also FINALLY got my picture with Charles.

AND I got to see him WIN the CT Championship. It was awesome.

OCTOBER Gets extra pictures cuz it was a busy month.

I had an internship and part of it was working at the 3D Film Fest in LA. It was a lot of work, I learned a lot and met some awesome people.

Jordan and I went on a Malibu adventure. Where we went to a pie festival, hiked a little bit up Zuma Ridge (or well an access road to get this picture) and went to the beach. I also decided I want to live there. It amaaaazing.

Jordan and I also did the touristy thing and went to Hollywood Blvd. It was actually super fun.

I went to my FIRST NHL game with Brooke. Kings vs. Cunucks. I obviously cheered for the Cunucks. They lost.

I went back up to Monterey for a weekend. I went to the awesome aquarium. Where I got to see PENGUINS (real ones, not just this one) among other awesome sea creatures.

I also saw some racing.

I spent one of my last nights in LA with Prithvi. We went onto the roof of his apartment complex in downtown LA (a block from the Staples center) and took pictures.

NOVEMBER
Brought a new job that allows me to travel all over the US. It's an interesting experience and I have been to some great places because of it. AND I have gotten to visit some friends as well!

We started out in Chicago. Where we ate here 3 times. SO. FREAKIN. GOOD. Amazing hot dogs.

In Denver I got to hang out with Diana and we went on a mountain drive.

I went to Pittsburgh a day early after Thanksgiving break so I could visit Kyri. It was lots of fun. We spend a couple hours in the Cathedral of Learning on the University of Pittsburgh campus. It's like freakin HOGWARTS.

DECEMBER

I had some time off in Boston so I went site seeing. This is on the USS Constitution, which my dad said I had to go to.

In Atlanta we were out at Atlanta Motor Speedway. It was super fun to explore the Nascar track with no one around. I also go to hang out with Diana again. AND go to my 2nd NHL game. Thrashers vs. Avalanche. Thrashers lost.

Orlando was awesome because our venue was Epcot. The best part was during the show my boss comes up to me "Come with me, bring your coat." And we go outside and there are a BUNCH of Disney characters doing pictures with kids. So obviously we had to take pictures as well.

We also had a Team Dinner at the Irish pub in Epcot. It was super yummy and we got to see the Fireworks afterward.

Nashville was prob my favorite city we visited. We had 1 1/2 days off which was nice. Scott and I went downtown and bar hopped and then I went and saw Garth Brooks in concert. It was amazing. Then we went to the Country music Hall of Fame before we had to catch our flight to Detroit. That city is amazing. SO MUCH fun, especially because I love country music. We also might have done a little TSwift stalking....

Then home for Christmas and New Years. Which was great because I got to see my best friends a lot. Which included the freakin cute babies two of them had. But I am ready to hit the road again.

So 2010 was a crazy year. With Graduation, races, moving to LA, new friends, old friends, and a new job. I hope 2011 is better and that I get the job I REALLY want, even if that means I have to move to Charlotte. If not its back to LA for me as I have some unfinished business it seems.
