Now admittedly I've been under a rock lately when it comes to most things Ewan but I had no idea this was even on the cards and I seem to have completely missed the fact it was broadcast on radio 3! But it was still a nice surprise to see this pop up in an email today:

Isn't it great? I already ordered my copy of it but so far it hasn't arrived yet. I'm hopeful I'll see it sometime this week though since other people here have already had their's arrive. :D

And it doesn't hurt to remind people about it again. We have new members all the time who might not know about it so thanks for sharing the link and the news! :D

By the way... did you notice it comes with a DVD of behind the scenes interviews, as well as the CDs? :D

The Cds and DVD are terrific... Next best thing to being there...

I wish they had filmed it too.
I am hoping Ewan will do something like Othello on film some day.
Then we can all see him...

I got mine a little while ago and listened to it on a car trip last weekend. I loved it! I so wish I could have seen it on stage. *sigh*

Oh well. Maybe someday I'll get to see Ewan in something on stage. Although I'd probably miss a lot of it, since it's hard to pay attention when you're a puddle of goo. :o)

This arrived in the post for me yesterday along with the extended 3 disc version of Long Way Down :-D I haven't had a chance to check either of them out yet, I have to wait until my boyfriend goes out as he thought LWD was really boring compared to Long Way Round so he won't watch it, pah!

I can't wait to listen to Othello, Karen has said it's like being transported back to the theatre so it should bring some good memories :-D
