my immediate thought, a la, you know, various ya novels, was to wonder how they dig graves under the snow in the frozen ground in the dead of winter, but i guess it is the 21st century and that's the least of our worries.

backhoe. josh says that sometimes the ground is just too frozen, and they have graves pre-dug, and then when the ground thaws they transfer people to their proper plots.

i have more photos. i'll have to share them with people who already know our family name.
