After several nights of going to sleep at 3 or 4am and getting up at 12 or 1, I'm finally returning to a vaguely normal sleeping pattern - last night I went to bed at 11 and got up today at 10. This is much better. I'll never get all my work done for uni if I'm in bed half the day /channelling my mother.
I also feel better -- less headachy and cranky -- and I felt like eating breakfast today for the first time in ages. It turns out sleep is good for you. Who knew?
Going to see Ash and The Darkness and suchlike in a big all-day concert in Botanic Gardens today. I've never been to one of these shenanigans before so it should be interesting. What I want to know is, though: if the gates open at 2 and the concert ends about midnight, how am I supposed to get my tea? A pressing issue which has, I feel, been roundly neglected by all concert-related literature. I wonder whether it's possible to leave and come back again. Hmmm.
Other than that, not much else exciting happening. I'm trying to get through the third Harry Potter in German but I keep getting invitations to sleep over places/aunts visiting for the day/huge concerts to go to.
It's a tough life. But I struggle on.
a bit of musicality please!,
