Car update
Talked to car shop; AAA has already contacted them and been out to look at the car (pleasantly surprised -- AAA had told me it could take up to 48 hours) and they're hoping to have an estimate etc. over to AAA by tonight. Meanwhile the local Hertz put me in an Accord, and I can even drop it off at the Hertz in Roseville at no additional charge, so I won't have to beg someone for a ride. Yay for small favors!
