In the spirit of http://indexed.blogspot.com/ (which I drop in on occasionally but don't find compelling enough to read on a daily basis -- although I must give her credit for (a) coming up with one every day and (b) drawing much better circles than I do):
I do in fact have whoami aliased to echo 24601, ever since I saw Les Mis. It finally paid off senior year of college: 5 of us were playing bridge and whoever was sitting out was using the computer to check e-mail, etc. and I'd left myself logged in; one of the other musically-inclined geeks typed whoami to see whose login it was.
