No further explanation needed
I was in LV last weekend, not for the WSOP, but I did meet up with a few people for dinner including Bill, Kenny and Terrence. One of the great things about my poker friends peer group is the implicit assumption that we will CCR for the check. After we took care of this (Kenny and I got down to heads up but he ended up paying), I remembered that Bill owed me $234. He handed me $240, and I checked my wallet and announced "I don't have $6 but I do have $12" and Terrence pointed out that at almost any other dinner table this would have been a totally unhelpful/nonsensical or non sequitur sort of reply but it made total sense. I won this too, BTW :-)
