Many months ago the Palms closed down their car wash. We were sad since we had used it regularly for years -- and for free since we got many coupons in our mailers down through the years for free tokens. [...]
Well... when we got our July mailers, we were surprised to see this notice: Car wash open in the east garage.
Why was I sad? Let me tell you why. I had thrown out probably over ONE HUNDRED Palms car wash tokens.

But wait -- maybe they had changed the token box and it would only accept a new different token. [...] So anyway I checked at the slot club desk to ask if old tokens would still work. They assured me they would.
I hate to see a grown woman cry!
Heh, I don't even *live* in Las Vegas any more, and I still have two tokens in my car's change cup. Ding! I know at least one place I'm going the next time I drive to LV :-)
