Southwest drink coupons expiring

Starting in August, 2010, Rapid Rewards Drink Coupons will be printed with expiration dates. Members who are opted-in to receive drink coupons and who earn an Award will still be issued four drink coupons per Award. Each coupon will expire on the last day of the month, 12 months from the date of issue.

Additionally, all Rapid Rewards Drink Coupons issued prior to the August, 2010 transition will expire on August 31, 2011. This includes any Drink Coupon Booklet(s) Members'[sic] received with an Award ticket or individual Drink Coupon(s) received with other Rapid Rewards communication.
Don't-tell-the-ADBs: I accumulate these far faster than I use them up -- you get 4 coupons with every award ticket, and I get 2-3 tix a year via travel plus the Southwest Visa card; and I'm not always in the mood for something alcoholic on an airplane, and I definitely don't want to get sloshed because I'm usually driving when I get to wherever I'm going. Even though I occasionally give them away to my row-mates, I still have 36 coupons to go through before 8/31/2011.
