EVVIE THE REF: Last week's battle went okay, I had a ton of spectators and even got some heroes! Looks like things are looking up! Kafei the Ref recognizes me as an official ref, and I have my new secretary on her way as we speak, and a boss lined up for tonight! This boss junk is easier than I thought!

[A huge rumbling shakes the arena, a scream tears though the walls.]

EvtR: ..?! What the hell...?

[The doors burst open, only to see HUFF 'N' PUFF and a fleet of TUFF PUFFS carrying a female form.]

EvtR: Hey, you- ..who is that?

H'N'P: We found this girl loitering outside! If you want her back, you've gotta beat me, haw haw!

EvtR: Grr. Fine, then we'll take you on! You vs. my heroes, you fat cloud..thing.

H'N'P: Hehe, gladly!

???: Help meeeee!

EvtR: Just...just wait a bit!

Yup, in accordance with the hint I gave earlier, the boss is Huff 'n' Puff from the original Paper Mario, high on my list of most loathed boss battles ever. And it's my mission as a ref to make you hate him just as much. :O

Huff 'n' Puff will start out with 3 Tuff Puffs by using his Summon Tuff Puffs skill. These Tuff Puffs play a core part of both his offense and defense, so look out for them. On each turn, he can suck them up for an HP recovery (30 HP x number of puffs sucked up). This means you'll want to keep the count low. Now, using his Summoning support skill, he can only have 3 Puffs out at a time...however!

Each time you hit Huff 'n' Puff, he'll make a new Tuff Puff, just like in the game.  Thus, for each hit, he'll make a new Puff. This means you'll want to watch your multi-hit skills tonight. While they can rack up the damage, they can also rack up the Tuff Puffs! Now, before you cry "BOOS JOKAR", H 'n' P won't spam  "Absorb Tuff Puffs" because all that will do is heal himself when he could be raping the heroes, so don't worry your little heads too much.

"But how will we stop all those damn Tuff Puffs, EvtR?!", I'm sure you're asking. That answer is simple! They only have 10 HP, and like one attack. That means you can essentially crush them as soon as they appear. A wise strategy may be to have some people attacking only H'n'P, while a few designated people deal with the Tuff Puff arisings.

H'n'P has relatively low stats to make up for his infinite healing capabilities, but don't take him lightly! That'll be your downfall.

Oh, and one last thing: if you don't win tonight, EvtR loses his receptionist. :O if that happens, it'll be twice as hard to find good battles or battles at all, so he may not be able to keep on a weekly schedule! Try your best to save the new mystery woman, or else!

THE CLOUDING begins at 9.
