I realize I've been MIA for a while again over here... I'm going through a bit of an identity crisis when it comes to dolls. About a month ago I took the plunge: I wanted to go for a resin BJD. My boyfriend ordered an Asleep Eidolon Blueberry MSD girl for me as a gift for Christmas and our 3-year anniversay at once. I saw a Blueberry in real life at Dutch Dolliverse in June and I fell in love, so when my boyfriend bought her for me I couldn't be happier. She's still in the making, but I can't wait for her to get here!!
A few days after we ordered her, I found a second hand Angell-Studio Leira on the Den of Angels Marketplace. She was only $130 AND available in Europe (Austria), so I immedialy pm-ed the seller and sealed the deal. She was now officially what my Blueberry should have been, haha: my very first resin ABJD. And I am SO happy I got her. I re-did her faceup, bought her a mohair wig and named her Ellie. I also made her a simple but cute dress and I'm working on a second outfit.
I LOVE Ellie. No problems there. But she made me realize I don't love my big Obitsu girls anymore. I don't love my Pullips anymore. I've got the worst case of resin fever: I only want more resin girls from now on... I'm already looking for a third...
