When the audio feed first turns on there's the sound of some things being moved around together. Sounds like all sorts of miscellaneous things clanging against one another. I can not say for sure if they have returned in full, but there were some cans of food and other things that I found.

...Before I came here, I was a biotechnologist working for a company. The company wanted to clone an ancient race of people for various reasons; up until a month before I arrived here I was part of the staff for this project. Our main resource were the cells of a deceased woman of this race. By injecting these cells into living things we were able to produce near replicas of the ancient race, but none of our creations were stable.

[She pauses and then sighs as if tired.]

But we did have one success. That was... my son. With such a mother... it's surprising he speaks to me. I don't want to force myself on him. So... I prefer it that no one knows our relation, so he feels no obligation.
