[The comm clicks on with a ‘zap’, but it’s not followed by any kind of reactionary noise. The communicator’s view is partially blocked by the gray blade of a sword, a dim red aura emanating from it. A few feet away, Gilgamesh can be seen at the edge of something. A fantastic sword is in his hand, the long handle and the extravagant guard are entirely gold. A black, cylindrical blade extends outward from the handle and is decorated from base to golden tip with intricate magenta glyphs. Ea. Ea, the Genesis Star that Sunders Heaven and Earth. The sword that unleashes absolute truth, the sword belonging only to The King.
Despite the weather, he is still dressed only in the outfit he always wears: a black jacket with white lines, slacks of the same design, boots, and a white button-down shirt. The end of his jacket is swaying gently with the breeze; his golden blonde hair did the same. The scene would have almost been perfect, if not for the obstruction so obviously present, and the fact that it was Gilgamesh.
The Servant finally begins to stir after a few more seconds of silence and stillness. He takes a stance. The distance between his feet widen, the right placed slightly behind him as if to brace himself. His left hand is before him, as if posturing to strike. Ea, clutched in his right hand, is now in the air and pointing horizontally away from Gilgamesh. The cylindrical blade has begun to spin. Its three parts spin in opposing directions; the base cylinder spins clockwise, the center spins counter-clockwise, and the tip spins clockwise. Energy immediately flares from the blade, the same color as the glyps that are now completely indistinguishable. The tri-blade is spinning at an inconceivable speed.
The communicator has begun to shake, rattling uncontrollably. It falls over, finally obscuring the scene completely. But it can still be heard. The spinning sound is as loud as it is fast, the sound of something catastrophic building. Gilgamesh’s voice can finally be heard over the spinning and the rattling.]
Enuma…
[A pause between his words. It sounds as though there is a burst in the air itself.]
…Elish!
[The rattling and the shaking grow even louder, but something else can be heard: the sound of truth tearing through the sky. An incredible maelstrom of magenta-colored energy thunders through the sky.
The comm clicks off.]
[OoC: EVENT GET. Gilgamesh has just shot Ea into the sky, if you didn’t catch that. If your character lives or is near enough to Horton, then they’ll feel the ground rumble and then shake intensely for the moment that Ea is fired. It’s going to cast a sort of rosey hue onto Discedo and the effect is obviously going to lessen as the distance between Gilgamesh and the character noticing this grows. Feel free to describe it any way you want, make new reactionary posts, and all that jazz. After he fires it Gilgamesh will be casually walking down the stairs of Horton to the bottom level, if anyone in Horton wants to run into him. I think that covers everything.]
teeny event is teeny,
this was fun to write,
