Ever do any urban exploratino in the area? I'm always looking to network with more explorers...I help run a MeetUp group in the area and manage a LJ community for local urbex.

Very cool! I'm usually only free on weekends, Sunday being the better of the two days. My group is planning an outing to Gary, IN sometime in February...it'll definitely be a Sunday, not sure which one (it won't be Superbowl Sunday and it won't be the 18th).

Sundays are usually good for me, too. But Sunday the 11th I'll be in Carbondale at a conference, and the 25th I'll be in Ohio. I usually don't travel so much, but apparently this February is a big month for me. I'll go another month, thanks for letting me know, though!

I'm always up for an excursion somewhere...doesn't have to be with a larger group of people...minimally, 2 people, ideally 3-4 works for me. There's TONS to see in Chicago and the surrounding areas.
