So you know that smoking ban that's on the ballot? Well, it has really been bothering me that so many people are calling it an "anti-smoking ban." That's grammatically incorrect. It can either be an anti-smoking measure/bill, or a smoking ban. What these people are saying means something that I am sure they do not want it to. By the way, I'm against it. "It doesn't hurt business in bars." Fuck that, yes it does. My dad plays in bars in Columbus where a ban was recently passed, and guess what, they have had significant drops in business. Musicians have a hard enough time already. Let the people smoke. And the people who don't smoke and don't want to go to a place with smoke? There are already some of those. So either go to a non-smoking joint, or suck it up and ask to sit in the non-smoking section. I'm not a smoker either.
