That's the great thing about a leg... if things get too bad, there's always another to be with.
I had a good day today. I worked Peter Pan again, and I love working that show because so many little kids go and they are so unbelievably cute. They're so small and silly and some come dressed up as Peter or a Pirate or other stuff. And I approve. When everyone was coming in, a man and his son walked by me;
Man: Let's go potty before we sit down.
Son: {almost whiny} But I don't neeeed to.
Man: I know you don't, but I do.
Son: Ohhhhhh.
[they exit stage right]
There's this program on pbs right now and it's awesome, it's these folks diving around Antarctica. They just showed this jellyfish with 40-foot-long tentacles. Aw, this guy got the benz [sp?] and won't be able to dive again. That's really really sad. But this program is so awesome, they're showing all these underwater creatures and ice-forms and other things that have never been seen before. And the penguins and seals are so goofy and hilarious. I love penguins. They're so cool dude.
Aaaanyway. After work Britt came, and it was SO NICE OUT TODAY I only needed a light jacket and we went walking through the parks [Grant and Millenium] and then visited a couple shops on Michigan Ave, which I must revisit. AHHH STARFISH FIGHT!! Ahem... Corner Bakery dinner'd it up, chilled for a while + nap, then the traditional 45-minute bus ride back to her place.
Orcas are awesome. PBS is my new best friend. Last night I watched a special on Abe Lincoln. I don't even mind that I can't find the remote, this station is sweeeeeetass.
Ahhh, the penguins are running away! They're so cool!!
I'm gonna pay more attention now, [endtransmission].
