Big news (to me, anyway...)

So I found out today I got 100% on my civ. liberties and rights test. I also got an 85% on my scary lit. test that I thought I had failed. :-)

In bigger and better news...

For the first time in my life, I have been authorized to do a thesis paper on comparing classics of world. lit to...are you ready?

XENA FUCKING WARRIOR PRINCESS!

Yes, it's true. I get to analyze particular episodes and compare story lines with the actual written epics/poems/plays. I never thought I would see the day, although I had kept my fingers crossed for many a year. I've never been so excited to write a thesis paper...I can die happy now.

Anywho, this weekend was pretty good. I went and saw Britt at Emmanuel in Boston on Saturday. We hung out at her apartment which is right on the Fenway and I met all her roommates, one of them being a girl from highschool I hadn't seen in awhile. We perused Newbury Street and the Pru, and hung out in Barnes and Noble for like an hour. I got a Lorrie Moore book (who I had read all summer) and a few magazines. Most of the time, I had to keep telling myself  "NO!" whenever I wanted to buy something completely unecessary, because let's be honest, I like to spend money. I also finally experienced Coldstone and got some rendition of cookie dough ice cream that was by-far the best cookie dough icecream I had ever eaten. Andddd, now I know for next time that you don't even have to get chocolate chips in it. I could just have cookie dough in my ice-cream. Britt's mom and aunt took us out for Thai as well which I actually enjoyed. I had some vegetable rice dish that had pineapple in. I hope I can get into grad. school in Boston. The city is so sexy.

I really need to dye my hair because my roots are rediculous. I have no idea what color I'm doing or who's doing it. If I wait until Thanksgiving Danielle can do it, so maybe I'll just do that and let my roots continue to take over my head.

This week is a little overwhelming, but we don't have class Friday. (Granted, I'm on duty this weekend and I'm working a ten hour shift at the desk and have two papers to write.)

Things are okay.

Time to go meditate.

He said I'm sorry
