nothing without your friends
i decided today was going to be a baggy tshirt and jeans sort of day. the first tshirt i put on was already dirty, so i went digging through my box o shirts and saw this shirt my sister got me for christmas. i think she gave it to me our last christmas together and it's just a nice memory and so that was a good way to start the day.
tonight i saw the final harry potter movie and i'd say it really drove home the series' theme of you're nothing without your friends. usually that type of message really irritates me and just makes me feel bad about myself. but, i have awesome friends. and we've stuck by each other even when i'm a huge idiot. and i'm just really grateful for all that. the movie is also sad and it's tough to see characters die and it's tough to think about how much my sister would have enjoyed it and how she never got to see/read the end of it. oddly, i think that movie was more cathartic (and unexpected) than tree of life.
really need to get writing, after learning coding, and building my site, and making guitar a habit, and fixing my house, and and and there are always more ands. until there aren't.
