A lady at the MAC makeup counter today told me I looked like a "black haired Lindsay Lohan", which makes me want to hack off all my hair quite fiercely. I used to have an earlobe-grazing inverted bob and I quite miss it so maybe I'll do that again.
That teacup is awesome. I have such a weird teacup fetish. I just picked up a couple of pretend-antique ones at Anthropologie today. ^__^
I think I'd have the same reaction if I was told I looked like Lindsay Lohan in any way.
I love this teacup and it was actually made in a city very close to where I grew up in NY. It's so tiny compared to the huge mugs I use at work, but I adore it. There's just something that feels so fancy about drinking from one... [and I'm totally jealous that you can shop at Anthropologie in person]
The thing is, I do not look anything like her. I... guess my hair is the same length? But a lot of famous women have hair like this. It was such a weird random comment.
I love teacups for that exact reason. You just automatically feel so fancy and dainty when using one. [Specially since I also bought a supercute little monocle necklace the same day. Now I just need a top hat and a skinny little moustache to twirl and I will be a perfect tea-drinking fancy super villian!] I need to find a tiny little tea spoon to stir my tea with since I usually take my tea with rock sugar or honey. I'm used to my larger mugs or larger teacups too and it's strange to stir something so tiny with such a large spoon.
Having an Anthropologie so close is so very dangerous. I tend to want EVERYTHING in that store. And they're having a big after christmas sale now too. *whimpers*
Okay, that was definitely odd if you don't look a thing like her...
I always want to wear frilly dresses and talk with a high English accent when I use cute tea cups. It's like some kind of built in reaction, so I can see where the top hat wearing, mustache twirling feelings come in--lol. You'll also need a villainous laugh and a dastardly scheme to make it the complete package. As for spoons, they must make tiny little ones somewhere for these kinds of teacups. I have the cutest ducky one that came with my Landry mug and works perfectly for when I have black teas that require sugar.
I can't even think about how dangerous it would be to my bank account to have an Anthropologie near my house. I have enough issues just drooling over the website ^^;
You totally need an English lady accent! You should get one of those big Easter Parade hats too, with flowers or an elegant feathered bird or a small city atop it. I have the villainous laugh down and I'm working on a dastardly scheme involving tying pretty ladies and even prettier men to train tracks or dangling my enemies over a pit of hungry crocodiles while I twirl my moustache menacingly and exclaim "This is a very interesting predicament you've gotten yourselves into, you rascals!"
I found tiny spoons last night! I found this adorable victorian online tea shoppe that has everything one could ever need for tea and more. They even have tiny sugar tongs in the shape of a silver heart. ^__^ [Along with my 432 other various obsessions, I have an obsession with heart shaped things.]
Mmmm, tea. that sounds so good right about now as we are yet again in the midst of another snowstorm. Sighs. I hate snow. HATE IT.
I'd like one small city hat or perhaps something large enough for a chipmunk to live in a la the mother from Kodocha [although that was her hair and not a hat ^^] Seems like a plan is in the works and I look forward to seeing the end result, perhaps including some tense and epic, crescendoing music and a lot of cut scenes between you, your captive, and the approaching train

Oh, Kodocha! I loved that manga. Didn't she have a little cuckoo clock hairstyle at some point too? ^_^ You should absolutely get a little chipmunk villa hat! That would be too darling. <3
While it is not the most stylish site, this one seems to have all sorts of goodies for a proper tea setting. It makes me want to invest in a pair of dainty white gloves with little pearl buttons on the cuffs. I've yet to dig through the whole site but I am almost certain those could be found there as well
